We are extremely excited to announce that our CEO, Laura Casselman was awarded the Silver Stevie Award for Female Executive of the Year – in the category of Business Services –11 to 2,500 Employees.
You may be wondering… What are the Stevie Awards?
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world’s top honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, and employees in the organizations they run. The awards for 2017 had more than 1,500 nominations from organizations of all sizes and virtually every industry, including Microsoft, Dr. Pepper, NBC Universal, Staples, and Verizon. The winners were selected by more than 170 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process.
The judges at the Stevie Awards have acknowledged Laura’s fearless and direct approach to what other industry leaders have shied away from, as well as the significant increase in profits Laura’s short tenure as CEO has already brought to JVZoo.
JVZoo Fun Fact: JVZoo has also been recognized now for 2 years in a row, 2016 & 2017, as an INC 5000 recipient.
What contributed to this win & the success of JVZoo as a whole?
The strength, will, and determination Laura has is unparallel to other CEOs/leaders. Her willingness to listen to employee feedback and ask for opinions is unheard of. Not many employees can say they have direct communication with their CEO, but in JVZoo all employees do. This team player mentality that she sets is carried out throughout JVZoo as employees are always helping and watching out for one another. And because of this JVZoo is family.
It’s exciting for us to be celebrating a win at JVZoo, as we enjoy having fun whenever and wherever appropriate. The reality of this award, however, is that our CEO is addressing the things that threaten our industry of affiliate networks and internet marketing head-on: scammers, spammers, and those who lack integrity in business and truth-in-selling.
