A JVZoo refund is issued from Sellers, then the product, then the transaction ID, then the red Refund button. Issuing it only in PayPal does not return the money through JVZoo, so the vendor eats the refund.
This is the official JVZoo tutorial. Watch it once, then use the click path below. Simon Harries, co-owner, is the author of this how-to.
Open the product from Sellers
From the dashboard open the Sellers tab. Open the product the buyer paid for. That screen lists transactions with a transaction ID, date, buyer, status, amount, and the affiliate who made the sale.
Transaction ID, then the red Refund button
Click the transaction ID. The next screen has a large red Refund button. Click it. The walkthrough’s timing is “about two seconds” once that button is in front of you — the work is getting there from the product list, not hunting in PayPal.
The policy article on handling a refund request fairly is the tone and process piece. This page is the click path. If a control is missing or a save fails, write JVZoo support with a screenshot of the screen you are on.
