A first JVZoo product is created from Sellers → Sellers dashboard → Add product. That path lists it for affiliates after compliance. Add to launch calendar is a separate reservation and does not send the product through compliance.

This is the official JVZoo tutorial. Watch it once, then use the click path below. Simon Harries, co-owner, is the author of this how-to.

What good looks like: One product name people will see on receipts and in the marketplace, JVZoo-only buy buttons on the sales page, a support URL, a refund window, and a compliance login so the review team can open the product.
Stop: Putting a PayPal or Stripe button on the sales page next to the JVZoo button. Affiliates cannot be tracked or paid from a side checkout. Also: treating Add to launch calendar as a substitute for Add product.

Add product, not only the calendar

Open Sellers → Sellers dashboard. Existing products list here. Add product has two choices: add a product that can be approved for affiliates to promote, or add it only to the launch calendar. The calendar listing does not run compliance. Use Add product when the offer should actually sell.

Name, sales page, description

The public product name shows to affiliates, on receipts, and in the marketplace. An internal name can sit beside it and is not shown to buyers. Paste the sales-page URL. The walkthrough is explicit: that page may only use JVZoo buy buttons, not a direct PayPal or Stripe button. Write a short description of what the product does and who it is for, then pick the closest category.

Launch time is Eastern

Available to purchase vs not is the on/off switch. A dated launch uses the calendar. Times are Eastern Time regardless of where the vendor lives. A pre-launch URL is optional. Turn on discoverable to affiliates if promoters should find it. Marketplace listing is jvzoomarket.com. Product of the day is a separate opt-in for offers that already convert.

Price, processors, affiliates

The walkthrough prices the demo as a one-time USD amount. Recurring, trial, dime sale, and time sale are optional and also use Eastern Time. Connect processors on this screen; PayPal with JVZoo Pay and Stripe with JVZoo Pay are the ones the video uses so affiliate commissions deduct in the same transaction. Set the affiliate commission as a percentage (the common case) or a flat fee. A JV page URL, optional sales minimums, and notes for affiliates go on the same step.

Access, refunds, checkout, compliance

Give buyers a support URL or email — a ticket desk is the walkthrough’s preference. Set a refund period in days, weeks, months, or years. Electronic delivery can be a JVZoo-hosted file or a thank-you URL. Checkout templates in the video are classic, minimal, and bright; the walkthrough picks the minimal template. Banner is 984×98. Product image is 150×150 or 300×300. Two to four feature lines. Testimonials must be real; the video states FTC compliance by name.

Compliance needs a login so the team can open the membership area or software. Certify the legal right to sell, then submit. The last screen asks which claims are actually on the sales page (testimonials, timers, disclaimers) so the review matches the live page.

Funnels, coupons, JV contracts, and split tests are separate controls on the same dashboard. Phone Room payouts, when you use them, show later in Report Center on the Phone Room article’s Transactions path.

If a control is missing or a save fails, write JVZoo support with a screenshot of the screen you are on.
